Meditation
Different places offer different opportunities. Here we invite you to slow down and shift from the doing mode to the being mode in the midst of Icelandic nature. To experience how nature supports you in letting go of pressure. You also have the guidance of the course leaders and the presence of the group to help you in the process. This is an unique opportunity to explore the state of natural mindfulness.
Dreams are a significant part of our lives. As an honest and precise mirror of our inner and social life, they reflect how we relate to ourselves and others. Even when dreams appear in the form of nightmares they are opportunities for personal and spiritual growth. As an expression of our unconscious intelligence they point to imbalances, to pain and problems, but always also to resources, often even to solutions. This problem-solving aspect of dreams may more clearly be appreciated by looking at series of dreams – which is possible in this week retreat.
Walking
Rediscovering the value of silence and a most simple way of living during daily walks in the amazing Islandic landscape. Walking and just being there with nature. Having space for deep contemplation and connecting with your innermost essence.
The hiking will be guided by Radhildur Ingadottir from Iceland. She is an visual artist working with installations and has exhibited in Europe for many years. Her interests are art, geology, cosmology and travelling. She has travelled extensively through Iceland by car and on foot. During winter Radhildur lives in Denmark but in the summertime she is a hiking- and driver-guide in Iceland.
